October 20, 2013 - Big nose of chocolate on this one. Drank over 2 days, and the nose and palate stayed fairly stoic with chocolate and blackberries with a little spice. Didn't pick up any meaty or other savory notes; tannins were well-integrated. Made for a rich syrah but lacked complexity.
