March 20, 2024 - Delightful. Lifted perfume of dried rose on the nose. Surprisingly full bodied on the palate, given the nose. Some red fruit notes supporting the darker fruit and a nice undertow of tar (from the mature merlot?). There are lovely delicate leather and subdued oak notes here. Still got time ahead of it. Long finish, complex. Drink now and over the next decade.

March 5, 2024 - Nice aged St. Emilion. Dusty with fresh black fruit profile. Very nice aged qualities. Delicate flavors that start off nicely balanced but soon unravel. This bottle was really good after only 20 minutes. Bottled up after pouring two glasses. The next day, it was good for the first 30 minutes then the unraveling accelerated.

Give short time of air and finish.

February 7, 2024 - WWC - NJH1122 (Fort Worth Club): Tasted blind - Deep red color in the glass; muted red fruit on the nose; red fruit, leather, and a bit of funk on the palate. High acid, and decent tannins. Drinking well now. Called a 20 year old left bank.
