December 17, 2020 - Earthy cherry, wintry spice (allspice or cubeb, a little juniper or bark). M acid, M body, M tannin. Not a ton of energy but the taste is good and the structure good enough, Compared to Chianti (which I’m more used to) this seems to have more tannin relative to acid. Pretty good for under $20. ~6/10

April 22, 2020 - PnP, surprising this wine had browned. Seemed like it was on it last legs.. maybe something a little off. Drinkable, but nowhere near as good as my previous bottle of this... No score, but some disappointment

March 19, 2020 - From a friend's cellar, so I can't be sure, but given the price of the producer's Brunello, this is surely a fabulous value (as is the Brunello). A little smoky on the nose and very drinkable.

November 22, 2019 - Nice rosso. Pumped up and the rest was still very good two days later
