Not a ton of energy but the taste is good and the structure good enough, Compared to Chianti (which I’m more used to) this seems to have more tannin relative to acid. Pretty good for under $20. ~6/10

March 19, 2020 - From a friend's cellar, so I can't be sure, but given the price of the producer's Brunello, this is surely a fabulous value (as is the Brunello). A little smoky on the nose and very drinkable.
