  March 13, 2020 - Estate grown+, body+, finish not so much.
  But I disagree with the last rating, for under $15 if I remember closert to $10 even, tannins , body, and it held well for two years in my cellar. If you like some tannins to break up all that fruit this is a can't beat for the price. Maybe not the most complex but not one-dimensional. If I see this in my store for $10 again I would buy multiple bottles.

  April 14, 2018 - If this was marketed like a Columbia Crest, et al, I wouldn’t have purchased, because that’s not what I was looking for. Was seeking a solid value and surprising wine. Shame on me for thinking a US producer in this price range actually offers a cab sauv with significant QPR, outside chateau st Michelle Indian wells and Liberty School.
  
  It’s an 84 given the competition in its range, but the betrayal via marketing saying “what can we do to tempt mid level customers to buy this plonk,” renders it a deceit, thus the 79 score. The sturdy bottle, appealing label, and 14.2% advertised ABV, lead one to think this will be a great value, but alas. Think of an internet date that dramatically underachieves their profile. It gets worse the longer you’re with it.
