  In Vino Veritas (in wine there is truth; [people speak the truth when they are drunk]), another bottle of my cellar sacrifices. This was another 2015 Quilt Wine Cabernet that tasted outstanding! It seems to me, much better than the 91/90 pro scores it received, and tasted more like a Bordeaux blend then straight cab, but again, it may be just me. 😀 A couple years of cellaring paid off as it rounded out the tannins perfectly. Apparently, this company was founded by Joseph Wagner, of Caymus fame, and a fifth generation winemaker. That’s right, I finally updated my postings to reflect what my cellar software (CellarTracker) says I have consumed over the past years and I think I’ll use it going forward. Anyway, this was a 2015 Quilt wines Cabernet that tasted outstanding. A couple years of cellaring paid off as it rounded out the tannins perfectly.   August 14, 2021 - Dark Crimson color. Nose of Fruit. Medium bodied. Fruit forward. Blackberries, plums, cherries, cassis and vanilla. A wonderful product of the Wagner family. Not overly complex, but a crowd favorite by those who enjoy red wine but not heavy tannin. Very good QPR. PNP.
