January 16, 2024 - Still somewhat guarded after 3 hour decant off of abundant sediment. Black cherry, mocha, dusty, vanilla and moist saddle leather on the nose.
Medium bodied in the mouth. Dry fruit driven palate. Cocoa, mint, attic, granite, juicy, and mouth coating fine grained tannins are the supporting players.
Cerebral. Drinking well at age ten. 92-93.
No rush. -

December 29, 2023 - It was beautiful around the edges. I will probably wait before the next bottle. Opened for about 2 hours before drinking. I think this wine ages well and the sweet spot is just a little over 10 years old, but probably not past 15.

September 15, 2023 - Nose is dominated by cherry with faint hint of oak, but palate is much more balanced. Cherry, vanilla, licorice, oak, raspberry. Soft mouthfeel, not quite mouthcoating but very supple. A well rounded, well integrated cabernet that is drinking well now. Decanted for about 30 minutes.
