May 13, 2024 - Good. Part of getting 2002-2012 vertical. Even though this 2024 is 20 years old it was better after an hour decanted. Just smooth and medium in color, lingering taste, legs. A nice drinking wine.
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It tastes like cherry. The body is light/medium. The wine finishes short. Don't use a cork screw with these 20+ year old bottles. -

June 13, 2015 - Tried this older vintage and it still has lots of life left. Very smooth with excellent fruit. Tannins have mellowed but a very enjoyable bottle for an 11 year old zin.

November 16, 2014 - Same notes as before. The fruit is not as present up front but there is a nice black pepper spice still remaining that makes it very enjoyable.

June 6, 2014 - Well made and well balanced zin. As one would expect with a 2004, its towards the end of the lifespan, and the fruit has started to deteriorate. Still very good at this point, but give it an hour or two for the alcohol to blow off.
