February 18, 2024 - A little off the pace - perhaps too young or (opined by a fellow diner) too old. Burgundian in character, although quite powerful, complex but unsubtle. Feels like the drought defined the vintage, falls short of the exceptional 2015.

February 14, 2024 - 8 years old and offering smoke, cranberry and earthy tones. Red fruit dominates with a tomato leaf spice. Wonderful balance and like all of the Hamilton Russell pinots they need 5 years + to show their full potential.
