May 22, 2020 - Comes off as classy. Of course tart, but also herbal, melon, and long finish.

June 15, 2019 - Very good NZ SB but more on the grassy and lemony side of flavor. Not my preference, but, a good wine.

    February 11, 2019 - A: Pale lemon green
N: Pronounced nose. Kiwi, gooseberry, lime, grass, fresh herbs, hay
P: Dry, medium (+) acid, medium alcohol (13%) but has a burn, medium (+) intensity and long finish
C: BLIC? Balanced? I think the alcohol burns - its medium and yet not well integrated. In addition, it seems to have pretty high RS here. At least that's my perception at the end of the class. Good length and intensity. A half mark for complexity.
This is young and made for early drinking and yet with the hay shows signs associated with fruit development. I wonder if there was any oxidation during the wine making process. Got it on sale at $14.50

February 6, 2019 - The aromas leap from the glass, wafting notes of bright lemon and lime citrus, slate and chalk minerality, pear peel, white pepper and faint tarragon. Relatively full-bodied for the variety, it bucks NZ sauv blanc stereotypes with its mouth-filling lushness and juicy acid that balances nicely with just the lightest touch of sweetness. The texture and structure are gorgeous. The flavors offer substantial depth, featuring lemon, lime and mandarine citrus to go with subtle vanilla, hay, pepper, crushed gravel and mango. An impressive effort.
