January 7, 2024 - Strong nose of green apple, slate, and, as the wine warms, maybe a bit of petrol? Surprisingly zippy palate given it's seven years off vintage, with lots of carbonic acid and more of that green apple. Lots of body but quite dry, with a *very* dry finish.
Still quite youthful for a white of this age, with lots of acidity and body to stand up to rich dishes--a great winter white! Paired very nicely with a tomato minestrone. No hurry to finish these up.1 person found this helpful Comment -
