April 23, 2024 - At Home Dinner. Another fine mature bottle of this wine which opened with a deep crimson colour and a fine nose of red cherries, raspberries, Asian spice and red orange zest. The palate is medium weight with a lovely core of rich red fruits and a fine background of spice, citrus zest and limestone that persisted nicely. The balance and purity evident tonight has come with age and deserves that extra point.

January 13, 2024 - Not what I was expecting!!! Really really nice with fruit, freshness and a lovely balance. Bought from Wine Society so good provenance which makes such a difference. Drank this producers Echezeaux 2017 alongside the RMC equivalent (apologies for dropping the name) and it held its own. Anyway a very lovely aged Burgundy and if you have any or get hold of any, enjoy!!!

December 20, 2023 - This wine opened beautifully with a medium cherry red colour and an immediate nose of dark red cherries, raspberries, Asian spice and stony minerality. The palate is medium weight with plenty of fresh fruit characters backed by those spice touches and some fine mineral persistence. There is is good elegance here and while not especially intense its a good reflection of the terroir and style.
