October 14, 2021 - As KillerJones states, this is "Rhone-ish". However, its not flabby. I often find Rhone whites flabby. Guess I'm looking hard. Plenty of complexity, almost seems busy. Good length on the finish. Interesting, in a good way.

Reminds me of a Bedrock Compagni-Portis I had recently. This is a proper old-school white field blend from Sonoma.

August 21, 2021 - Intro’d to Adi’s wines in London, after trying his Mezcal. (That stuff will get you to gates of Babylon in a hurry…) I hear he is a fan of Portuguese wines, and it shows here.

With a year in foudre, a year in concrete – it has a bit of everything in it, from like 16 different vineyards.

Quite “Rhoneish” – is this a word, yet?.. with great concentration & textured, waxy mouthfeel.

It’s dense with pear, melon, & ample, alluring honeysuckle with a saline finish. So much complexity here.

    Serve chilled-ish for best results.

May 14, 2021 - No notes taken here. But can say that I definitely enjoyed it. The nose is mineral yet not very intense / deep; palate is on the first sip quite sweet, but not at all fat. Waxy, oily, honey notes here. Nice. Paired wonderfully with aubergine stew. Generally this seems to be better with food I think. 16/20

25% Chenin Blanc, 16% Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc 15%, Roussanne 15%, Marsanne 11%, Sémillon 10%, Viognier 5% and Colombard 3%.

April 16, 2020 - This is an interesting wine, not really mu taste but that doesn't mean it's not good. Aroma of honey suckle, taste of burnt sugar (like creme brulee top), not incredibly pleasant without food. But with, softens incredibly. Had with steamed sea bass with an asian sauce (soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil). I wouldn't buy again but it's definitely an acquired taste.
