July 18, 2018 - Quite nice, lovely rich red in glass, red fruit (mixed berry?), strawberry, floral, bit of earth in nose, and much the same on the palate. Very well balanced with only light tannin, but delicious acid/fruit with moderate weight--a bit more than I recall from other vintages. Kind of lush (past vintage notes say 'sappy') versus crunchy with minerality & acid or earth. Enjoyable on a summer evening, thunder storms rolling through. Several days later, finished last third, very much mixed berry, still fresh and tasty.
