  March 21, 2021 - My first Ladoix blanc. Enjoyable but a bit disappointing given the producer. I expected more Burgundian character from this wine. Most Pouilly Fuisse I've had lately were richer IMO for less money.

  September 28, 2019 - Visiting London, Galway, Dublin and Paris; 9/14/2019-9/29/2019 (England, Ireland and France): Faiveley's 2016 Ladoix Blanc was barrel-fermented and aged for 12 months in French oak. The Domaine describes the new oak exposure as "less than one-third" of the barrels. Light golden in color, it is effusive of green apple, lime zest, white flower and spicy oak aromas. Light-bodied, crisply acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 13%), it delivers flavors mirroring the nose and stays solid on the mid-palate. The finish falls a bit short, but overall this is a pleasant Chardonnay that should be at its best over the next three years. Drink now-2022.

  August 8, 2019 - Lemon colour. Yellow apples, oak and minerals with hints of elderflower and toast. Taste of yellow apples, lemon, nuts and minerals. Long and dry finish with hints of minerals and toast. Balanced acidity. Goes well with fish or shellfish.
