October 7, 2020 - 2015 Castello di Querceto / Querceto Chianti Classico Riserva, $14. On sale with 2016 coming out. Mid-brick, orange edges; red and black fruit nose; earth, wood, brush, berries; mid-body; mid acids/tannins; mid to long fruity, woody finish. w/pasta, sausages. 15.5 UC Davis scale; 89 other scales.

July 23, 2020 - Even better than before. There seems to be a certain graciousness added to the qualities I noted before. I was not conscious of the shortness mentioned by another commentator. Bolognese was a perfect pairing. Very good.
