October 2, 2020 - Bright ruby center and violets on the rim. Medium viscosity. On the nose, I found ripe cherries, blueberries and hints of blackberry followed by smoky meat, spices and finally some mineral tones. Multi-layered aromas and obvious complexity coming through. On the palate, confirmed these and also picked up bacon and chocolate’y tones. Tannins were very much there, but in balance with acidity and alcohol. Finish was long and savory. Outstanding Syrah which will continue to get better over the next 5-10 years.

February 17, 2019 - Tasted blind and easily guessed as a high end syrah. Dark pepperv violets and red berries on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, balanced and long. Readily enjoyable but will improve over the next decade.

February 4, 2019 - Blind Monday #1 (Oinoscent): Darkish bright purple color.
High intensity in the nose, loads of smoke notes, tobacco, gamey, very refined, as old school as it gets, very earthy, decadent, curred meat, bacon.
In the palate, the wine shows the same profile, smoke and tobacco, curred meat, coffee and chocolate notes, med tannins, very well balanced, med finish with ripe red fruit.
Outstanding
