April 1, 2023 - Really like the 2014 vintage of Alto Moncayo Grande. A slightly cooler vintage that makes the acidity balance out the dark fruit perfectly. Blackberries, blueberries, plums, in a lovely mix. The high alcohol content is now well integrated into the fruit, good balance between acidity and tannins. Drink or hold.

September 22, 2022 - Tonight a favorite from Aragon in Spain, Alto Moncayo Grande 2014, 100% Garnacha. Have many vintages of this wine in the cellar, this may be one of the best I have tried, wonderful tannins, dark fruit, blackberries, dark plums, wonderful length. A wine where you have to drink up the bottle, simply delicious. Drink or hold.

August 30, 2021 - One of my favorite wines from Bodegas Alto Moncayo. Full bodied, black fruit with muscles, but still with a finess. Great wood together with the fruit, just love this one with some age. Drink or hold.
