June 2, 2019 - Very smooth on the palate. Peppery notes provide some complexity. Fine grained tannins. Good fruit, I get plums. All meshed together quite nicely. Goes down almost too easy. Long finish.

May 6, 2019 - Tasting notes are cosisntent with my previous note. This wine has improved in the 15 months since I had it last. In addition, my tatses have changed some. It’s a beautiful wine that offers a great complexity. I much prefer this to the usual blackberry & oak bomb style cab.

February 9, 2019 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Medium purple in color, this wine shows abundant cassis, black cherry and olive tapenade on the nose. The mouth-feel is full bodied with almost sweet tannins from the gobs of silky fruit. The finish is surprisingly soft and satin-like for a cab. 13.5% abv.

Purchased for $40US, this is a winner that has tons of fruit. The decant first really seemed to open this up and show its best.

November 18, 2018 - Nice wine but certainly not seeing a 96 here. Two bottles over a month apart, similar impressions both times.

October 3, 2018 - Yeah, I don't understand the bad reviews here. This Cab Sav is amazing. I can't believe what I am tasting and smelling right now. So different.

On the nose I smell a bouquet like you would have in a floral shop. Stems and daisies just push through really strong. Then on the first taste it is concrete with cherry and roses. The acid is well balanced and then the tannins are perfect and tame. On the end note you get a bit of graphite and earth. WOW!

Yes, the fruit is not full forward on this, I get that, but you are missing all the other flavors if you just want fruit. This is a complex lady. She isn't going to just please you with the standard talk, she is talking at a much deeper level. If you can't hear what she is saying, you never will hear it.
