May 5, 2024 - I really like this edition for current drinking. It's a big, lush version. Very complex, evolving in the glass with air and warmth. Orange and rose blossom, blood orange, dark berries, dense brioche. It's a shame they produced 1/12 the normal volume of the version. It's the smallest batch ever, but a great Krug GC.

February 16, 2024 - kɹʌɡ wɪθ dʌɡ (Chicago, IL): I have generally loved this edition, and this bottle was pretty consistent with how I remember it. Softer on the palate, with more than usual fruit-based sweetness on the palate. This clearly doesn't have the acid cut of the 163eme or 164eme, and it's quite different in that sense. Similar to the 161eme in its plush, softer texture tonight, but more full, complex, and layered. Will this be a great Krug, probably not, but it's definitely very much approachable and enjoyable now.

July 16, 2023 - Champagne Cornucopia - DP vs Krug MV (Chez D): Again - compared to the DP, just easier to get on with. I suspect that this was better even than I gave it credit for - hard to shine in such a strong field. Interestingly, a fellow diner poured half his glass into mine, and while I objected, I drank it all. Make of that what you will.
