Community Tasting Notes 4

June 26, 2021 - An unusual blend per the label of 70% Cab. Sauv. and 30% Syrah. Poured with a dark purple coloring. Lots of dark fruit, including both blackberry and blueberry with a hint of spice. Tannins have integrated leaving a powerful but smooth wine. Delicious but a bit strange simultaneously. My last bottle, but I suggest anyone drink their bottle over the next year or two.

July 30, 2016 - Blind tasted. Dark purple color, Med+ concentration. On the nose we have dark ripe fruit, perfume, strong floral aromas. Stewed blueberries, spice, heat, an tight tannins on the palate. Well structured, but this could use even more time. Complexity is med/high. 91-92

February 19, 2016 - Drank with Lisa & John. We all liked it but we drank and liked 4 other bottles that night. I Simply don't recall its characteristics.

July 20, 2013 - Time in the cellar has mellowed out this mostly cabernet blend. It delivers a strong dark cherry character, ample oak (but not overdone), and long finish. The 30% syrah comes through with a surprisingly strong pepper on the finish. Paired well with the flank steak dinner.
