August 2, 2023 - Some ginger, nutty and savory notes. The smoothest and silkiest of all of them. The most elegant. Spiciest. Baking spices. Licorice. Most length. Cooler vintage so more elegant, fine than the 2001 (regular cuvee).

July 9, 2022 - Nutty apricot nose is powerful. Caramel, candied nuts, stewed apricot, and botrytis flavors linger for a medium length finish. Not much acid left, but decent balance.

May 12, 2021 - Delicious, blinded with tasting group, well received

February 1, 2020 - Une bouteille un peu trop évoluée, mais quand même agréable. J’aime, mais n’y trouve pas l'éclat et la grandeur de la précédente qui était magnifique.

November 16, 2019 - Private, little BB (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Gabriel Universal Standard
    Popped and poured, not decanted.
Clear, pale amber color. Intense nose, at the beginning with lots of volatile acid, that vanished with air and time. Driven purely by botrytis: honey, spices. Some candied fruit. Intense, but not very complex.
On the palate again: botrytis, volatile acidity, a bit hot, 12,5% abv. Fried, candied fruit. Unfortunately quite simple and not very complex.Long, but simple finish. Immortal, but i doubt that it gains complexity. Disappointing for 99 PP. 89-90
