October 27, 2020 - Drank during a 2008 v 2016 mini horizontal.
The 2016 was clear, bright ruby, with a spicy nose. Vibrant fruits with some grip. I called vosne when served blind, as this was more classic Vosne than the 2008. Tried at VOs -

March 15, 2018 - Dégustation au Domaine Lamarche (millésime 2016): Nez discret, parfums de roses. La bouche est plutôt fermée, avec des tanins fins, c’est assez puissant mais bien dompté. Le vin reste mystérieux, moins ouvert que le reste de la gamme. Énigmatique, il montre un potentiel certain, mais bien malin qui connait assez ce terroir pour me dire s'il deviendra vraiment supérieur aux deux superbes grands crus dégustés quelques minutes auparavant. 93 (+?) pts

January 27, 2018 - Domaine Francois Lamarche Masterclass: Good density, lovely fruit. Discrete nose with not much expression. Not as sophisticated as the other top 2016s in this walk about tasting and, like in the GR 2015, missing the Oomph for this great location. Will it come with age?
