  December 30, 2021 - Toasty, well integrated oak. Very tight acid keeping the oxidative and lees driven notes in balance. Tart green and yellow fruit, a golden colour with a green tint.

  December 31, 2017 - Golden. At first yeasty, brioche, japanese green shadow tea (more expensive by one two or three cans than this bottle), fine very fine bubbles by the way, the green tea note is developing in something like thyme? Yellow fruits. Beside the problem of telling the different flavors and smells: It has such sheer class, intensity!, elegance, complexity, finesse and finish, most of all this dom perignons, cristals ... are waiting for in 20 years (often in vain). So this is only available in magnums in relatively small quantities, less than 4000 bottles. Forget about chardonnay, one like to shout after this chenin based bubbles (it has some chardonnay in it), if I had enough cash I would buy all there is in the market place. That is not much, as I wrote. Great, at the maximum of outstanding and with so much future in this magnum bottlings, lucky the great champagne houses are, that this is only produced in such small quantities. Hope that some healthy bottles reach other continents. -2035+
