June 3, 2018 - First stop on our eighth day in Napa Valley is to our friend Aaron to taste through some of the wines from Myriad Cellars, Bench Vineyards, Steltzner Vineyards, Riverain Vineyards and Flint Knoll. Sixth wine is from Bench Vineyards and is their Cabernet Sauvignon. Inaugural vintage of this bottling.
Deep ruby red. Spiced nose with cinnamon, brown sugar, anise and violet. Medium plus tannins (7/10) with a full body. A bit of cola in texture with some spices, black raspberries and floral. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2030. -
