June 26, 2018 - Curious wine, with the familiar Cab Franc herbaceousness hidden under bubble gum cherry flavors. Did this see some carbonic maceration? Light, tingly tannin and medium-plus acid. Medium-long finish of candied strawberries.
Update: two days later, the herbaceousness is more pronounced and the primary aroma, but the candied berries are still prominent on the nose and dominate the palate. The finish is short and not very pleasant.
