  January 20, 2023 - Opened two bottles. One was pretty closed up. The other much more open even after just opening the bottle, beautiful and elegant. Not your typical Rhone though, very little meat or olive or bacon fat but there's just a hint of something that did lead most of the guesses to the northern Rhone.

  June 13, 2022 - On opening there's a big hit of Brett that masked the fruit. When that mostly blew off, the dark fruit set in, so we missed the initial 'light/red fruit' stage. almost 5 hours later, that prettiness started to return. lovely wine.

  December 29, 2021 - striking how plush and pure the fruit is, the nose is sooooooo gorgeous and fresh. theres a light wood spice, sweet earth and wild berry. I had it in 2019 which was a bit wild - this is focused and giving. Savory and sweet. That perfect interlaced profile. My god. This is my wine of the night. The saturation of fruit is extraordinary - the wines keeps handing out more and more as you sit with it.

  June 22, 2020 - Syrah aged in prior year Liger Belair Romanee barrels. Initially a hint of green vegetal note, and blue fruit. Earth, pepper, and spices. High tannins and medium acidity. With air, it opens up with more sweet red/blue fruit. There’s a hint of VA that never subsides which masked the potential, though ultimately still a really good wine.
