April 25, 2019 - Drank at Acquerello in SF
Over the course of dinner this opened up and expressed a bit more of its personality, but we didn't see the best of this wine. I think it needed to be opened about 4 hours before we even arrived. What we did see was good: well structured with good understeer in the tannin dept. The finish wasn't stunted (but not particularly long) and the flavors were fairly primary (cherries most dominate).1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 7, 2017 - short note - kirch, dark plum, ceramic, sweet tobbacco, leather, vanilla, high tannins, very well structured, concentrated and complex, finish could be longer. outstanding quality, 92-93p
