August 24, 2022 - Lovely but even after hours in a decanter we killed a baby

July 3, 2020 - Absolutely beautiful if you decant it for 4 hours. Great fruit and nice soft tertiary notes. Very elegant and feminine. Beautiful complexity. Drink now or within the next 10 years.

April 25, 2019 - Drank at Acquerello in SF

Over the course of dinner this opened up and expressed a bit more of its personality, but we didn't see the best of this wine. I think it needed to be opened about 4 hours before we even arrived. What we did see was good: well structured with good understeer in the tannin dept. The finish wasn't stunted (but not particularly long) and the flavors were fairly primary (cherries most dominate).

October 7, 2017 - short note - kirch, dark plum, ceramic, sweet tobbacco, leather, vanilla, high tannins, very well structured, concentrated and complex, finish could be longer. outstanding quality, 92-93p
