April 26, 2021 - Colour is already showing some garnet reflexes. Typical Tuscan Sangiovese nose, very intense cherry and some wet leather. extremely fresh, tannins are very well developed and smooth. Cherry, plum, some pepper. very greedy and rather long!

October 10, 2020 - This has some nice bretty notes but they don’t dominate (and mostly fade after an hour or so), and it’s recognizably Sangiovese in a traditional and relatively lighter style with a generally savory character and nice minty/sage/green notes. M to M+ acid, M tannin, M body. Dry but sweet cherry character too. This seems to be in a good spot after eight years, with probably a few years left in its drinking window. ~6.5/10

January 25, 2020 - Pale garnet color. A good amount of sediment in the bottle.
Right upon upon opening this shows a beautiful multilayered nose of traditionally crafted Sangiovese. Bright red cherry, rose petals, black tea, dusty gravel road, sage, tomato plant, worn leather, balsamic VA and savory spice.
Mid-weight on the palate with a lovely zingy acidity and silky but still firm tannin structure. Great intensity to the flavors and airy mouthfeel. Long, lingering, savory finish.
First time I taste Pacina and what a pleasant surprise that was. Definitely in style with Caparsa and Bucciarelli so if you're a fan this is worth seeking out. Ready to drink and I don't think my remaing bottles will be long-lived.1 person found this helpful Comment -

December 2, 2018 - We enjoyed this wine. 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo/Ciliegiolo. There is an earthy almost funky note on the nose, that is interesting. Perhaps a little Brett? Fairly structured, I think this could age a while. Recommended by DG at Swigg who knows I am a big fan of Felsina. I'd buy again.
