August 16, 2023 - Neighbourhood hangout at Maison Dakota. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of integrated toasty oak, rich lemon curd, exotic fruit including ripe mango, honey cream note. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), rich medium+ almost full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of exotic ripe fruit, mango, rich lemon curd, gingery spice, integrated toasty oak, smooth butter, honey cream, crunchy stony minerality. Long finish.
Very good quality. Rich oaked Chardonnay drinking in a good place in its prime.
Classified as premier cru from 2020 onwards.

September 17, 2021 - Rich and forward with a nice balanced back end. Plenty of fruit and flavor. Very good.

March 18, 2020 - A good wine with decent acidity etc but not the great value standout I thought it was when first tasting. Insert the hmmm emoji here.

May 6, 2019 - By the glass. Wood stands out, hiding the aromas of freshly baked apricot cakes. We have to wait. Balance between density and acidity in the mouth. Good length and a delicious and inspiring, spicy finish. The best of the lot without a doubt.
