April 12, 2022 - Rich, jammy, blackberry, vanilla toast nose with slight notes of earth and leather. Fruity palate with the awkward, un-balanced tartness of too many contemporary Australians. Toasted, fruity finish.

November 12, 2020 - On the nose: Oaky, very fruity with loads of plum —> turn to pepper and spice —> return back to plum and fruits

    Medium to full body

    Medium finish

Delightful wine and very much value for money

July 21, 2018 - Maybe a 90 for pleasure. McLaren Shiraz really is the world's most hedonistic grape. This exhibits what you'd expect- think rich Mollydooker - but there's a few jagged edges etc.

    Nice choice BA lounge Gatwick

March 13, 2018 - An airborne dinner (British Airways flight BA0005, LHR-NRT): Fresh and juicy and plummy, spices and red meat on the nose, bright and fruity palate with well-judged phenolic grip, nice balance and flavours, creamy finish, good length.

January 12, 2018 - Granted it was used for cooking the wine is actually pretty good and forward. Good ripe fruit, good spicy profile, dark fruits, energetic and albeit young very welcoming. Deserved better that to be used for cooking and a very good 87
