great bottle. I bought this 3 months ago and was concerned a little given the drinking window was thru 2015, I would say more like 2025. The wine showed no sign of having peaked, color was great, good acidity and tannins, great bottle. highly rec., Brad loved it and it compared favorably to an Araujo Eisele 2007 that we also drank.

June 7, 2015 - Dark fruit, spice and earth flavor with grippy tannins. Perhaps it still needs more time in the cellar to mellow out.

November 11, 2012 - Would agree with Kemo Sabe notes. Probably held a little too long. Had good fruit but was a bit on the thin side. My first Plumpjack experience so cant really coompare. Overall a nice bottle but not sure its worth the QPR. This was a screwtop also

November 10, 2012 - Not bad but a little thin. Popped and poured. Seems its past its prime but still holding on to some decent notes and flavors. Drink now.

February 18, 2007 - Deep Purple color. Smells of licorice and blackberry. Very dry and smooth finish. This was a bottle with a cork. Will need to try my screw cap bottle soon to compare.
