  May 19, 2022 - Big big juice bomb. We drank from slow ox but would have benefitted from decanting. Big purple and blue fruit with some cooperage showing, mostly as oak tannins and less as toast. Finish is nice. Worthy of comment is the mouthfeel and associated legs of this wine. I believe the wine “felt hotter” than it is (14.1% abv) due to this slightly oily quality of the wine. On the positive the fruit really hung in for a long finish. Still drinking fairly young but I don’t see age benefitting the wine as I think tertiary nuances will seem unbalanced within the drinking profile. This was meant to drink youngish.

  March 14, 2022 - Very nice. Dark fruit on the nose and palate. Drinking well now and should cellar for several more years. May improve with a little more time in the bottle, but it is already a very nice cabernet. Better day two - so make sure you allow for some air. Enjoy!

  December 5, 2020 - 30 min of air in the glass. Deep garnet. Lots of black fruit on the nose and palate. Grippy tannins that smoothed out with some time in the glass. Very enjoyable bottle of wine. Tasted blind as part of a flight. Nice texture, mouth feel.

  August 25, 2020 - See prior notes. Wine is fantastic - great deep red color, medium tannins, blackberry and currants with lingering spice notes at the end. Finish almost 40 seconds long. To me a very good value for a wine this well made
