January 13, 2018 - A nice expression of the variety. Black raspberries, cherry hard candy, and a hint of brown sugar fill the nose. Expressive, flashy, and full of vitality in the mouth, with precision of red fruit and nicely integrated oak that comes across as brambly spice. Tightens up on the tasty finish and gains a melted richness the longer it lasts. I'm impressed.
