February 4, 2023 - even after ten years, time is the key word when opening. Good upon opening, but still a bit closed, juvenile, unbalanced. after an hour the picture starts falling into place. Sour cherries become lush, both in the nose and on the tongue. A good, dense shiraz-dominated cuvee packed with fruit, well worth its money.

January 22, 2023 - Definitely come together more since last bottle. Still quite inky and while the first taste is impressive it does not really follow through to the finish. Well made though

September 24, 2021 - No decant. Black olives, green olive tapenade, bacon fat and dark berries (bramble berry). A balanced yet vigorous palate. This is a simple, but well engineered Syrah, more Old World in style.

January 17, 2021 - Deep ruby red. Dark nose with baking spices, leather, oak, gravel and black currants. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with balanced acidity and full bodied. Dark and layered palate with purple flowers, baking spices, gravel, tobacco black cherries, and dark cocoa. Long finish. Drink till 2028.

October 23, 2020 - Big wine. Dark purple color. Blackberry dominates the nose with some floral elements. I’d say it’s 75% Napa Cab and 25% Brunello. Big tannins. Give some air. Not my style, but enjoyed its uniqueness. Drank a bit young.
