November 19, 2022 - Day 1
Nose: blackcurrants again, oaky oak (woody rather than sweet)
Palate: wild, tannins pronounced tannins, still moderate, fine grained.
Day 2
Nose: blackcurrants, leather
Palate: black fruits followed by leathery, earthy, herbal notes? Complemented a beef ragu very well
Aromas more direct and easy to identify when slightly chilled
Day 3

August 2, 2021 - Dense, inky purple. Nose of pipe tobacco, white pepper. Full bodied. Cranberry, coffee in the mouth. Long finish. Wow.
