July 26, 2023 - Color: garnet, dark cherry
Nose: menthol and violets, both light and mild
Palate: ripe cherry, rose, grape stem
Mouthfeel: soft, juicy, watery start, super tannic finish, unbalanced

The tannins on this are extreme and overpowering. I remember this wine much better balanced in the past.

April 1, 2023 - Notes of blueberry pie and warm baking spices like cardamom.
Paired beautifully with “grilled salmon & blueberry salsa”

October 2, 2020 - Looking with appreciation at recent 93-94 ratings, a score I reserve for complex, multilayered wines. Does the Patrimonio get there ? Not quite. But it is so good in the level below that: good fruit, turned into a wine with a good character. Fully flavored, yet clear notion on alcohol (13.5%). I stick with 91.

September 23, 2020 - Can't say a lot of Corsican wine has has been in my cellar but I will be looking for more from now on, this nielluccio was impressive, with quality structure and well a well stated palate of dark fruit with a very smooth mouthfeel and a long finish.

June 13, 2020 - Color: opaque dark purple, medium ruby edges, long slow legs
Nose: get warm wax at the start, warm sand, blueberry, pomegranate with touches of vanilla cocoa
Palate: tart blueberry, red cherries, a smidge of chic
Mouthfeel: soft, round and very luscious
