Community Tasting Notes 2

March 9, 2008 - Some friends brought this over for my son's birthday party on 3/9/08. We had it with the pot roast dinner. It was decanted for about an hour and a half. It had a nice nose with aromas of cherry, oak, mushrooms and spice (just a hint). On the palate, it had cherry, mushroom & some spice flavors. It was VERY tart on the finish and did have some mild tannins. While it did lack in complexity, I found it very enjoyable.

November 17, 2006 - This wine was incredibly horrible! Nasty, astringent, and not at all quaffable. The worst $10 I ever spent!
