April 11, 2021 - Dark purple core with purple hue. Medium aroma of pepper, turmeric, shrubbery, dark berries and light varnish. Fresh acidity, unripe berries. Black currant, blackberries, rhubarb. Medium bitter tannin. Not entirely unpleasant but not something I would look forward to drinking again. I had 3 bottles and I am just glad to have them finished.

January 8, 2020 - {screwcap, 13.8%} Smoke, gentle spicy oak, earth and raspberry flavours. Bright and youthful. Fresh light-medium weight palate, with peppery characteristics, low dusty tannins and medium acid. Quite lively on the palate, with a sweetish twist to the flavours on the finish, which is short/medium in length. Jubey and juicy wine for youthful consumption, I can’t see the structures or tannins for proper aging.

March 17, 2019 - {screwcap, 13.8%} Youthful nose of plums and spice. Raspberries with a tang. Palate is ripe, not too much so, with loose-knit gritty tannins, medium acid, and a savoury quality that makes itself apparent after an initial sweetness fades quickly. Initially intense, but really no more than light/medium-bodied, it's fresh, with a crimson-tinged short/medium, rather transparent finish. Best within a few years.

February 10, 2019 - {screwcap, 13.8%} Purple/plum wine; ripe fruit but not too sweet; soft grainy tannins and medium acid, plum jam flavours with a touch of chocolate, medium weight, short-medium finish. Soft acid. Fine quaffer, might mature a little over a few years but not more.

August 9, 2018 - Very spicy, pepper, aniseed. Even on the second night it still has a bitter tannin. Light to medium body, bright acidity. I don’t like it, i tried, even waited a night before i wrote the review. All tannin and acidity, no fruit.
