July 16, 2023 - had this after a Boillot Puligny Pucelles 2016; this was a nice notch up in every department; very pretty perfume; the mouthful really sang here - more layers of lemon and white stone fruit, more complexity and a longer more complete finish. in a terrific spot drinking wise.

April 29, 2023 - All about Batard: Linear and pure, slightly oaky.

  • LW31 Does not like this wine:

December 10, 2019 - A lot of wood, doesn't show depth or richness it should for this vineyard. Not much promise here thought it's good enough. Even at this young stage, once again Pernot disappoints.

November 9, 2019 - Wonderful! Layered and complex and heavier/fattier than some of the other 2017 white burgs we tasted. Some minerality to balance the fat. Just a great, elegant wine.

June 25, 2018 - Paul Pernot Cellar Visit, Tasting 2017s (Day 2, Visit 1) (Puligny-Montrachet): Tasting at the domaine. This ups the game in terms of concentration. A little bit of fat, a lot of energy. Very bright finish. Once again in 2017 I prefer this over Bâtard-Montrachet. 93-94 point potential?
