January 21, 2018 - The Vine Tree, Wiltshire for Sunday lunch with son's family.
Notable Chilean. Dense, spicy (esp. liquorice) brûlée cooked plums and dark berries with velvety dusty tannins and enough acidity to balance the whole. Concentrated and long. Fine classic CF. A shame about the appalling service and indifferent food!
Will seek this wine out. Drinking well now but suspect could evolve/?improve perhaps up to ten years from vintage. 90?+
