August 8, 2022 - Dark ruby red. Toasted oats, blueberry, and earthy nose. Medium to full bodied, blackberries, spices, woody tannins, dried blueberries, leather, and a medium finish. Better with food.

December 7, 2020 - Decanted one hour before drinking to accompany fillet of pork. This took a further hour to fully open up. Dark crimson colour. Damson, herbal, earthy, vanilla, spicy. Rich ripe fruit, smooth long finish. I felt this was still a little young, so maybe keep another year or two.

October 22, 2020 - Served with friends to accompany Italian style chicken, a great reminder of when we all visited the winery a couple of years ago. Opened and decanted one hour. Dark cherry colour and a big nose of dark berry fruits. The palate is full and rich, dry, but with a hint of sweetness, bursting with fruit on the palate. Long finish. Excellent now, seems to be at peak maturity already, so I'd hesitate to keep it longer.

July 14, 2020 - Tasted during our Monday Night Virtual wine tasting...notes are from the morning after.
Smell of leather, tobacco and slightly wood...color is dark. Slight dill on the taste along with the tobacco and leather with a very concentrated finish. Seems to have beefed up the morning after. Good now but will improve with a little age, will have to follow up in another year.
