  March 23, 2018 - Amazing mature colour, broad and complex nose with blueberries, liquorice and garrigue. Great taste with leather, mature blackberries, smooth tannine backbone and peppery garrigue. Impressive length and comlexity! Amazing!

  February 1, 2009 - Color: deep red ruby. Nose: A lot going on in there! Hints of raspberries, plum, pepper, and earth. Flavors: Tobacco, dark fruit and licorice. Mouthfeel: I'd call this a full-bodied wine, with great structure and acidity. Super long 60+ second finish. Tannins definitely "up front" but not overpowering. A great feeling and drinking wine with a long smoke and black fruit flavor profile. Very nice. Would seeek out again. Give it a shot.

  August 21, 2007 - Deep, brownish red. Big, complex nose with spicy frouit, leather, pepper and plums. Rich taste, balanced with dark fruit, viol, licorice and a long finish. Charming tannin. Very pleasant wine with capacity for furter aging.

  September 22, 2004 - Deep ruby color. Interesting, complex aromas of ripe currants, sweet rasberries, toasty sweet oak, roasted nuts, and leather. Fresh, elegant and rich on the palate, medium to full bodied, nicely structured, with layers of flavor with good acidity underpinning it. Black rasberries, currants, smoke, tobacco flavors, and plenty of ripe tannins. With it's balance, structure and tannins this will age several years. Long-ish smokey black fruit finish.
