September 18, 2019 - Luis "Bring a good bottle" - Pinot and Bordeaux (Kenwood): From a magnum, I can almost smell the minerals. The palate is ponderous, but as usual, this rose does not strike me as lively or acidic enough. The fruit profile seems dull and it needs at least a little sweetness for balance. I don't get it, and I've given up.

September 15, 2019 - Wine #1 of my birthday week of wine. Rosé just can’t get any better than this. Rich and full bodied but oh so light on its feet, and like my first tasting note from earlier this year, never cloying. The complexity is off the charts, with white peach, watermelon, gobs of mineral, fresh cut basil, thyme and a big salt water taffy finish. The ultimate balcony wine! So glad to have 4 of these left to take into 2020 and beyond. On a rosé only scale, this is 100 points. On its own, it’s a well deserved 95 points.

September 14, 2019 - Never fails to disappoint. On opening has strawberry bouquet with minerallic finish. After a couple of hours evolved with grapefruit, nectarine and other white fruits.

September 12, 2019 - Mixed WTDS at The Kenwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Pale salmon color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes plus - from magnum. Wow, this nose always just gets me, filled with Mistral breezes and sea air, passion fruit, peach, mango, and floral notes with spice too. The palate is complex as well; peach, wispy ocean and earthy minerality, passionfruit, strawberry. Long and glowing, the only thing missing was a 80 degree outdoor location.
