  August 11, 2022 - One hour decant. Deep dark electric magenta color. Date, blackberry, chocolate, blueberry, cherry, and subtle anise on the fruit forward nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish. Somewhat primary, but very solid for the price point.

  January 21, 2022 - Big bold red. Dark fruit, spice, and graphite. Night one, there was some tar on the finish that I did not like. That disappeared on night 2.

  November 30, 2021 - Nice blend. It's a big wine that's amped up (think Caymus). Air helps it come together. Easy drinking if you like big and rich. There is plenty of spiciness.

  December 24, 2020 - Tasting so well in 2020. Warm baking spices, baked black fruits, cocoa dust and grainy tannins. High ABV at 15.5% but well integrated. Big wine!
