September 11, 2022 - Nose and drinking both a bit more modern than I’d expected. What a difference from my last bottle. This is drinking very well day 1 and just as good day 2.
I won’t imagine it will get any better but no hurry. Spectrum of red fruits berries, new leather, fennel, blackberries, freshly cut pine, almond paste.
Nice finish, although slightly short but a very nice wine. Day before I had a Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertine and Meo-Camuzet Gevrey Chambertine 2017s and it’s not a fair comparison but just not as precise or as deep. It was a great bargain though.

August 13, 2021 - This Bourgogne is missing a bit of Burgundy. I have 09,10,12,15,16,17 of this wine and this is my least favorite. Not excited that I have another 15 but then again it was a $25 mid week drinker that didn't turn out to match the rests of the vintages. 16 is a great year and maybe it needs more time but I would have guessed that a 5 year old Bourgogne level wine should be ready or at least feeling okey about the $25. Day 1 (half of the bottle ) remaining wine was moved over to a 375 bottle and vacu pumped.....the rating of 83 rating is day 1 - Day 3 other half , didn't finish it.

June 14, 2021 - Mild reduction at first but otherwise ready to drink. Not complex, but has a nice spine to it - I suspect this would stand up nicely to tomato pastas.

March 19, 2021 - Aromatic and floral in the nose, cherries, black berries, strawberries, mints, plums, roses, and dry forest floor; concentrated, juicy, and tight on the palate, berries, cherries, coffee beans, dry earth, rustic tannins, and light wood spices; medium-long finish with a sweet touch; overall, 91-92 points at this stage; still young but enjoyable.

September 12, 2020 - Did not drink nearly as good as the last one. If they all drank like this, I would not have bought them. Lifeless.
