May 1, 2022 - I'm amazed at how much this wine improved with age. 3 years ago it was among my least favorite Pinots. Acid was too high and complexity was lacking. While some improvement with time was expected, such a significant turn-around was a welcome surprise.

August 4, 2021 - We quite enjoyed this wine and were surprised by its evolution throughout the evening. After opening with mostly black cherry and lighter fruit, it developed complexity adding lightly toasted oak and a bit of tobacco. Considering the last note is from 2020, I would say this is in a great place right now. Cheers!

July 22, 2019 - July 2019 Trip to Sonoma; 7/22/2019-7/23/2019 (Sonoma): 2% Syrah blended in. Black cherry, black raspberry, tea, spice. Medium body. Medium-plus acidity. Medium-long finish. Paired with roasted baby beats, duck prosciutto, fennel kimchi, pickled strawberries, toasted hazelnuts, blue cheese, tarragon, and crispy shallots.
