April 24, 2022 - Really enjoyed this effort. Black cherry, vanilla and a little spice component. Not as big as a Napa cab, but I prefer the softer tannin cabs.

October 18, 2021 - Rich and ripe sweet huckleberry fruit, cola berry, and parsnip (yes, a sweet earthy root vegetable). Big tannins, low acid. Stops short of being obnoxious but still more a cocktail than a food wine, which surprises me coming from Beckman as I didn't think this was their style.

August 28, 2021 - Almost two years after drinking bottle #2, we have drunk our last, and it has held up very well. As I surmised back before COVID hit, this has very long legs and should be very strong for at least another decade.

June 17, 2021 - Splash decanted for an hour. Aromatic nose of blueberry and raspberry. On the palate, cherry, cassis and vanilla. Crowd pleasing style.

September 23, 2020 - Big, but not overblown, and with surprisingly decent acidity for the ripeness and the region. It's good, and under screwcap.
