Community Tasting Notes 1

November 22, 2007 - Decanted for 1 hour. This wine exhibited a dark ruby color. On the nose, rich aromas of ripe cherries, strawberries and raspberries were joined by floral notes and hints of spice. On the palate, ripe cherry and strawberry flavors were accompanied by notes of plums with hints of rose petals and spice leading to an earth-filled finish. Incredibly rich mouthfeel with silky smooth texture. Great balance of fruit with the acidity really carrying through to the finish. Absolutely delicious with Thanksgiving dinner and if it wasn't for the Torre Muga... would have been my runaway favorite of the night. HS93
