November 22, 2020 - Beefy for a Beaujolais. Dark plum, savoury, leather, slightly herbal. Some alcoholic warmth. Good acidity.

April 29, 2019 - Weekly tasting group RWP #328; Some random wines (@ BS): In the bouquet red and dark berries, herbs, rose hips, oak and vanilla. On the palate juicy and sweet red berry fruits, cherries, sweet spices, some sweet licorice and fresh acidity and pleasant bitterness. Very good wine.

  • Bearbus Likes this wine:

September 7, 2018 - Juicy purple plum and blueberry and cherry fruited but also with a fungal-woody haze. A slight sweetness to the fruit on the palate, fairly big on the palate with quite some mouthfilling tannins - for a Julienas (I can see why the Aussie market might go for it!), hints of florals (rose, violet) and spice. Good. Still holding up very well 3 days later

May 7, 2018 - Weekly tasting group RWP #285: A mixed set (@ BS): Dark ruby red. In the bouquet a bit rustic with green herbs. On the palate red berries, cherries, herbs, licorice, some oak, red currants, cerise. Good acidity and slightly sticky tannin. A very special and tasty Beaujolais and this is in a positive way. 89++
