September 27, 2022 - Not as inviting or charming as the 2015 Vigne Istine, but still a nice glass. Silky texture, with subdued cherry, tobacco, and mushroom. Tannins are a little drying and the fruit struggles to find its way through. I believe it is already past its best. Disappointing at its price point.

August 28, 2020 - Elegant & somewhat restrained in a good way. Red & dark fruits, leather, soil, floral. Good balance & some complexity.

May 15, 2020 - Nice bright red and black fruit. Fresh and grippy on the palate, still young. some spices and underbrush. Though the structure is strong as always for Chianti the overall impression is one of elegance. This is not a big wine, in other words it is a classic well made Chianti. Finish is dry and quite austere.
